Ooh, shiny things! Are you like me, who loves a little sparkle in my life? Then check out the annual Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase from January 31 - February 16, 2020, which includes almost 50 shows, and features “World Class Minerals," the 2020 Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, from Feb 13-16th.
All of Tucson gets in on the excitement of what's considered the largest gem showcase in the whole universe. Many restaurants, hotels and additional attractions welcome the hundreds of thousands of spectators throughout the area. Locals and tourists alike turn out to take it all in.
There are over 40 venues throughout Tucson that will feature the international shows. You can speak with researchers and authors, artists and gemologists, and even miners! Ooh and ahh over the treasures on display at the many exhibits and retail areas. Treat yourself to a trinket or two, I know I will!
