Arizona Weather

by Lois Berman 11/11/2019

When I lived in New York, Autumn was signified by gloriously colorful leaves and cooler temps that all-too-soon brought on frosty winter weather.  Here in my adopted state of Arizona, we have our own unique fall season.  As the cartoon above illustrates, we wake each morning to the "frigid" winter temps in the 60s, and by mid-morning we've climbed to upper 70s.  After lunch we can typically enjoy mid-to-upper 80s, then by late afternoon we're slowly descending back to lower 80s and eventually low 70s after dinner.  A little bit of seasonal perfection, in my book.  Today I'm enjoying a lovely 76 degree walk with my visiting nephew while my friend is stuck at Chicago-O'Hare airport due to snow.  Do you like it warm or cold, or a mix of both?  Me, personally, I love Arizona weather.
